Oscar Alvarez-Macotela

PhD in International Development from the University of East Anglia (UEA), England. He read law in Mexico (LLB) and graduated with honours at UNAM Acatlán campus, and also holds a master's degree (LLM) in international commercial and business law (UEA). In addition to his practice as a lawyer in the financial sector, he has conducted multidisciplinary postdoctoral research in Uganda and England, and has experience in Spain, Nicaragua and Mexico. He is a founding partner of INTERHES, a member of Social Value UK.org, and a member of the international network of Mexicans abroad (RGMX) in the United Kingdom. Oscar is also a Member of Causa Natura's Advisory Group. His particular interest focuses on financing systems for social, economic and environmentally sustainable projects.
